Daniel Zduniuk (b. 1997, Poland) is a visual artist, scenographer, and exhibition technician based in Brussels. Working from inside institutional spaces, he questions who is involved: who touches artworks, who interprets them, who is left outside. He remains attentive to the repetitive gestures that go into building and staging an exhibition.
His practice moves between two cycles: that of the exhibition, from its construction and rituals to its dismantling, and that of the natural world. A recurring figure is the silverfish, an insect that feeds on photographs and paper, indifferent to archival logic. Through it, he interrogates the preservation of heritage and the possibility of a tabula rasa: a clearing of inherited assumptions about what art holds, and for whom.
